Isabel is a graduate of Universidad Complutense in Madrid (UCM) with a five-year degree - Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Información (Level 7, EQF), and she holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of West London (UWL), which includes a doctoral thesis with Translation and Adaptation as her main research disciplines and the speculative novel Still Life as literary artefact (both the thesis and the artefact are available on the UWL Repository).
